Denis Shapovalov is unhappy with the treatment he received

The reason for Shapovalov fuming was because during the tournament last year, he was disallowed from taking a break under similar circumstances. Therefore, he pointed it out to the chair umpire.

After the match, during the press conference, Denis spoke on this subject and expressed his sheer disappointment. The 22-year-old player stated, “And then after the fourth set, I mean, the guy goes — and for the same thing last year I wasn’t allowed to take a toilet break when I asked for a medical. He had already taken two medicals.”
