“I Will Be Doing as Many Deliveries as I Can” – Nick Kyrgios Keeps Up His Promise

With the global lockdowns amid coronavirus pandemic, it has consequently hit the livelihood of people, as they are failing to run their day-to-day businesses. After seeing the public suffer, a few days ago, the Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios offered generous help to fulfill their day-to-day needs.

He stepped out to rescue the vulnerable families and posted: “If anyone is not working/not getting an income and runs out of food, or times are just tough. Please don’t go to sleep with an empty stomach.”

“Don’t be afraid or embarrassed to send me a private message. I will be more than happy to share whatever I have. Even just for a box of noodles, a loaf of bread or milk. I will drop it off at your doorstep, no questions asked!”

After posting the heartfelt message, Nick Kyrgios received a good number of responses. On Tuesday, he decided to deliver groceries in his whereabouts in his home-town Canberra, Australia. And the so-called ‘bad-boy’ of tennis continues to pursue his kind act of humanity. 

When his nation was dealing bushfire havoc in the month of January this year, Kyrgios raised AUS $4.8 million with the aid of the tennis fratenity.

Nick Kyrgios sends his message

“Hey guys, tomorrow I will be doing as many deliveries as I can throughout the day to he nearest people. I have been in contact with them. If I haven’t read your message yet, trust me I will do my absolute best to get to yours,” Nick posted.

The international icon of tennis Kyrgios also received messages from across the borders as people were in need. But due to unfortunate circumstances, he wouldn’t be able to reach out to them and feels sorry for the same. “And my international friends around the world, I wish I could do more. But right now things are tough, stay strong, bright days are coming,” he added.
