“Ice Grew Up as a Person”- Mizkif Reacts to Ice Poseidon’s Demand for a Twitch Return

The latest controversy in the streaming industry began after a photo of Karl Jacobs and former Twitch streamer Ice Poseidon surfaced on the internet. Moreover, certain comments that Karl made on the live chat of Mizkif also earned him a lot of flak.

Following his suspension from the platform, Ice had to face a lot of criticism and hate. His actions on the Twitch, along with various controversial remarks, justify the 4-year-old ban. However, the disgraced streamer feels it is time for him to return to Twitch. Replying to Karl’s apology, Ice pointed out how he is a reformed person. Therefore, if people ever looked up to him, they should bring that out in public.

Heeding Ice’s advice, Mizkif realized he needs to speak up about the former streamer’s character. Therefore, when he came across the Twitter thread between Karl and Ice, he recalled the time when he used to watch Poseidon stream. Even Miz couldn’t deny that Ice saw a lot of growth since he first started streaming.

Mizkif agrees that Ice Poseidon’s ban has gone too long

Ice Poseidon has seen a lot of hate, both during his streaming years and even after his ban. And Mizkif says he understands the reason behind all that hate. However, what he also understands is that it has been way too long since Ice left Twitch, and he has had enough time to make changes.

It’s been four f***ing years, man. If you really cared and looked at Ice’s content, you would know he got less and less edgy…and Ice grew up as a person.”

Mizkif talked about how at one point in time, Ice’s live streams were full of edgy and problematic content. In fact, it was hard for Miz to even sit through his earlier steams. However, as time grew and the years passed, Poseidon’s content became more watchable.

Four years down the line, Ice Poseidon might be a completely different man. Naturally, like so many others, Ice also deserves a second chance. It would be interesting to see Twitch’s take on the issue, especially after how it has treated celebrity streamers such as Dr Disrespect in the past.
