Osaka has enjoyed a fair amount of success on the court. Off the court too, she’s one of the most marketable athletes in the world. Naomi Osaka: “I do not like going to parties”

Recently, Naomi was interviewed by Vogue. She spilled the beans about her life outside the court. She said, “Honestly, I still don’t really have friends. I’m a bit of a loner, but not by choice. I would like more friends, but I’m not forcing it. I don’t like to go to parties, because I’m not a good dancer, and they’re loud, and you sort of shout at a person to talk to them.”

Osaka has been in a relationship with American rapper Cordae. Surprisingly, he share qualities similar to his girlfriend. Like her, he too prefers living a comfortable life. There are many people who do not prefer going to places which are loud.

The former world no. 1 also stated, “I’m not that great at small talk. Mainly I’m a homebody, and my boyfriend records all the time, but he’s an even bigger homebody than me.”

The US Open champion may be quiet outside the court, but on the court, she’s a machine when it comes to playing tennis. The last time Osaka won the title in New York, she went on to lift the Australian Open. It’ll be interesting to see if she can repeat the same.
