“I’m Expecting Guys To Make Stuff Up”-Andy Ruiz Jr Denies $5 Million Fight Claims

Andy Ruiz Jr took to social media to deny all claims that he was offered 5 million to fight Dillian Whyte. He said the British heavyweight is lying about this entire scenario.
Andy Ruiz accuses Whyte of being a clout chaser. Andy made almost the same amount fighting Anthony Joshua and that was at least a title fight. A fight with Whyte worth 5 million is big money for a bout that doesn’t involve a title at stake.
Learning about Andy Ruiz Jr denying he was offered 5 million, Dillian Whyte said he would soon release proof. He has emails and text messages between Ruiz and his promoter Eddie Hearn. And he will post them the minute his phone is back to working condition.

It’s had to imagine anyone turning down a non-title fight for that sum of money. Especially when Andy Ruiz for sure had the skills at his disposal to easily finish off Whyte. When Ruiz is in shape, he’s almost impossible to beat. Before his loss to Joshua, he faced defeat only at the hand of Joseph Parker in 2016.
Dillian Whyte claims Ruiz is talking rubbish. He said, “Andy Ruiz is talking rubbish. Eddie just sent me the message. I just cracked my phone, and Eddie just sent me the e-mail. “I don’t just talk rubbish. Talk about facts. Hopefully, my phone gets fixed tomorrow, and then I’ll post it. Until then, I’ll let him [Ruiz] enjoy his Tweets. Let him have his moment.”

Andy Ruiz had to defend himself. He said it was an attempt by Whyte to stay relevant. He said, “Just keeps boxing relevant. I’m used to it now. I’m one of the top fighters in the world, so I’m expecting guys to say stuff and make stuff up to try and make things true and all of that stuff, you know?”
So all this said and done, do you think Ruiz was actually offered the 5 million?
