It must still be in your fresh memory when Miami Heat faced Indiana Pacers on 9th January 2020. Heat defeated Pacers 122-108, but the match is still alive in many media conversations. It was more of a Jimmy Butler vs TJ Warren than anything else. The two got involved in a heated tussle that got nastier as the match proceeded.

Head-to-head, Butler has many achievements to show off against the Indiana Pacers forward. Jimmy has played five all-star games to TJ’s none. TJ, however, has a better 3-point percentage as of now, but that is it. The two share a rivalry that is beyond these stats, and we are discussing them because they’re soon going to face again.

Jimmy Butler and that Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers showcase

In quarter three, Jimmy was going offensive with the ball when Warren came to defend him. Warren held his left arm and almost swung him for a clear foul. This incident totally shifted the game, and we were now staring at a brawl rather than a ball. “you’re f****** trash” and “I’ll beat your f****** a$$” were the exchanging chants.

A double technical foul was called, and this is exactly how it went.

Another epic face-off is on the cards

In a recent interview given to ESPN, Jimmy Butler answered several tough questions from the reporters. He was asked about the reason why the Miami Heat has to now face Indiana Pacers not once, but twice, in the NBA Bubble. The two teams will play each other on August 11 and then on August 14, 2020.

Jimmy responded, “I appreciate you can see the smile that’s on my face. Look, I’m happy to compete against anybody any way. But you know they are very, very good team but I’m taking them behind me here twice.”

He later added, “I don’t even think of it like that…” “My teammates got some jokes though out there, I’m sure you do as well, but Imma go out there and be the best version of me.”

He also looked very positive about the way his team has made use of the quarantine. They were on zoom calls doing yoga, pilates, workouts, and other cool stuff. Anyway, we will all tune to the thrilling matches no matter what!
