Belarusian star Aryna Sabalenka has been playing some incredible tennis recently. Back in October, she won the Ostrava Open and just a few days ago, she won the Linz Open. She is definitely happy about these wins and must be glad that she has been winning even after splitting with her coach Dmitry Tursunov.
“It’s important for me that I was able to have success without Dmitry, because we worked together for such a long time, and I started winning with him. It was tough to make the decision to split because in the beginning, I was questioning myself and whether it was the right thing,” Sabalenka said.
Currently, Sabalenka is working with Anton Dubrov and she feels that he has been incredibly helpful. She said, “Anton has really helped me a lot to go through this process, and now I feel very confident working with him. This is definitely good for us to be successful, and so we’ll keep working and pushing hard to win more matches.”

When the Tour resumed in August, Sabalenka started working with Dieter Kindlmann. However, the partnership did not last long and Aryna explained why. She said:
“I was working for a long time with Dmitry, and Anton was my hitting partner. They knew me really well, and so I never had to worry…Working with Dieter was difficult, mentally, for me, because it took him time to get to know me. He had thought about my game and how I have to work, which were different from my thoughts.”
