Preview-

Los Angeles Lakers weren’t at their best during their last game against Atlanta Hawk, but managed to win in the end. To churn out a victory, even if scrappy at times, is one of the traits of all good teams. Their 24-3 record in the season so far is matched only by one other team in the league- Milwaukee Bucks from the Eastern Conference. The Lakers sit comfortably on top of the Western Conference and there are very few reasons, if any, to suggest why they will not be contending for the Championship this season.

Their Tuesdays opponents Pacers, on their part, have had a good season so far. They have managed 18 victories, four more than the next best team in their Conference. Their win-loss record of 18-9 places them sixth in the Eastern Conference. The Pacers will be coming into the game against  Lakers having won three games in a row and four of the last five.

Indianapolis can be a tough place to visit, but the Lakers are yet to lose outside of Staples Centre. The duo of Anthony Davis and LeBron James have been influential for their side in the season. Tuesday’s game might be along the same lines for Lakers, with the duo expected to come good once again.

As for the Pacers, they have so far worked well as a unit. Domantas Sabonis has had  points and ome notable performances in the Pacers jersey. He is averaging 17.7 points and 13.5 rebounds per game in the season so far. The Pacers bench has also made good contributions, returning more than 30 points per game. They might put up a good fight on Tuesday, but it looks highly unlikely that they will go past a strong Lakers side.
