India’s defeat in the night of Champions Trophy finale had already left the countrymen open-mouthed. But this time the step taken by India’s Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Ramdas Athawale seems to be shuddering the world of cricket. Indian Minister on Saturday threw an allegation to the Virat Kohli & Co. of fixing the Champions Trophy 2017 finale against Pakistan where India lost the final battle by a staggering 180 runs.

“How could the cricketers, who played so well in the entire tournament, not perform in the final match (in London on June 18)?” NDTV quoted India’s Union Minister Ramdas Athawale asking.

“In the match against Pakistan, someone like Virat Kohli who scores a century so often and other accomplished players like Yuvraj Singh who have scored so many runs in the past, looked like they were playing to lose. Was the match fixing involved? There should be an inquiry into this,” he said.

“Anil Kumble was the coach there. Kohli, who has scored so many runs in the past, what happened to him that day? That’s the reason why I have a doubt that was it a case of match-fixing,” Athawale said.

“Our players knelled in front of a rival like Pakistan. To kneel in front of them in such a way is major act of disrespect to your nation,” the minister added.

Saying all this Athawale has unmasked a new baffling plot for management to surface the truth of such accusation. This would be an earth shattering venture for ICC as fixing in a crucial match has already shaped it’s major dimensions around the nation. India and Pakistan have always been involved in a broiled affair which has been on the controversies since a long. Hence the above mentioned accusation and its true expansion along with days could put the Indian side towards their eye popping revelation. The mere truth is yet to be unfolded, the future of Indian Cricket team has been riding on a thin line.
