Post that, it also released in-house silicon chip-based laptops instead of intel versions. Most of these were classic Apple products, and nothing too surprising. However, it recently launched a product that is more expensive than the Xbox Series X and the disc version of PS5!

One might think, isn’t this the case with most Apple products? It would make sense if it were the brand’s flagship phones and laptops. However, if they are a thousand dollar monitor stand or $699 wheels kit, it is absolutely insane.

This time, Apple has blown away the internet with $549 headphones. The ‘AirPods Max’ are wireless headphones by the tech company that feature incredible high-fidelity audio, Adaptive EQ, Active Noise Cancellation, and spatial audio.

While Apple might be known for its amazing products, it is the pricing that makes the company stand out. Therefore, the internet trolls have yet again decided to point out the irony about how a pair of headphones cost more than the latest Xbox and PlayStation consoles.

Tom Warren, Senior Editor at The Verge recently posted a tweet highlighting how the AirPods Max cost more than the latest consoles.

A user mentioned that if Apple would have sold the Xbox consoles, it would have asked for a much higher price and still sell more units than Microsoft.

Others also took trips down memory lane, remembering the Pro Stand and Pro Wheels kit.

No matter how the internet field day of trolls goes, everyone knows how this story ends. Apple is going to end up making millions just by the sale of these headphones and ultimately the joke will be on the trolls.

Regardless, most rational people will be choosing the latest Xbox Series X or the PS5 over the AirPods Max. Therefore, the headphones aren’t really a direct competition with the consoles.
