Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is making headlines every day. The battle royale has taken the gaming world by storm. As the game looks to venture into Esport territory, the world’s No.1 insider had a statement to make.

Rod Breslau took to Twitter to showcase what he feels is the world’s #1 Esport today.

Battle Royale taking the world by storm

Fall Guys is part of the battle royale genre. The game takes inspiration from classic TV shows, including Takeshi’s Castle, Ninja Warrior, and Wipeout. The developers have designed the game on many levels, with the ultimate winner taking home the Crown.

The game held its first tournament a few days ago. Top streamers such as Shroud, DrLupo, and Summit1g got involved and things heated up fairly quickly.

The winning team will receive a grand prize of $50,000. 80 streamers are competing in 20 teams of 4. At the moment, FIFA streamer Castro and his team are on top of the hill.

With over a million people watching, Fall Guys Twitch Rival tournament is just growing out its fan base. Castro’s team has bagged in a $7000 Week 1 cash prize. Team DrLupo is edging close, making it to the top five.

With so many engaged, it is easy to see why Fall Guys might be the next big thing in the Esports industry. The first tournament is running well, and if many follow, the game may rake up higher numbers.

Season 2 of the massively popular game has already been teased during Gamescom 2020. This time it is taking us to the medieval era. Fall Guys will feature a range of new costumes ranging from Dragons, Knights, and Wizards.

Brand new rounds inspired by epic quests are also coming. The sneak peek is not the finished product, so fans have to wait for additional tweaks and additions.
