Battle Royale taking the world by storm
Fall Guys is part of the battle royale genre. The game takes inspiration from classic TV shows, including Takeshi’s Castle, Ninja Warrior, and Wipeout. The developers have designed the game on many levels, with the ultimate winner taking home the Crown.
The winning team will receive a grand prize of $50,000. 80 streamers are competing in 20 teams of 4. At the moment, FIFA streamer Castro and his team are on top of the hill.
With over a million people watching, Fall Guys Twitch Rival tournament is just growing out its fan base. Castro’s team has bagged in a $7000 Week 1 cash prize. Team DrLupo is edging close, making it to the top five.
With so many engaged, it is easy to see why Fall Guys might be the next big thing in the Esports industry. The first tournament is running well, and if many follow, the game may rake up higher numbers.
