The popular Battle Royale title, Fortnite, recently tweeted about a photo of a three-panel comic strip. The strip involves Meowscles, the feline NPC who arrived in Chapter 2: Season 2. It showcases the character eating a hat-wearing tuna out of a can.

But on the final panel, fans can see black ink covering the character. It showed Meowscles transforming into something else, with the introduction of white rubber gloves on its hands. Players believe that it’s teasing a new collaboration involving the cat, but with whom?

Is Bendy and the Ink Machine characters coming to Fortnite?

Many fans thought that the final panel from the comic strip was a nod to Bendy and the Ink Machine. The first-person horror title is one of the best puzzle games available right now, and it looks like Meowscles might become one of its antagonists.

Meowscles used to live at the Box Factory before he handed it down to his son, Kit. Since then, the location has turned into Catty Corner. He returned as an NPC for a while, but he’s been missing in Chapter 2: Season 6. But the panel suggests that he might be returning as Bendy from the popular horror game.

Bendy is the primary antagonist of the Kindly Beast developed title. In the game, the entity is a villainous version of the studio’s popular character of the same name, who attacks the protagonist, Henry Stein.

There were some rumors flying around about the “Ink Demon” arriving in Fortnite soon, but a tweet from one of its designers made people more suspicious. theMeatly, who was part of the design team of the game, tweeted that the transformation in the third panel looked eerily similar to that of Bendy’s.

Other probable collaborations

Other than Bendy, fans have noticed the rubber hose style of animation in the panel. Many people thought that the white gloves and the animation were a slight hat tip to Mickey Mouse, the iconic Disney character. Fortnite already has a lot of items from the popular IP, and it wouldn’t be a shocker to know that they are working on more collaborations. Players believe that it could also be a slight tease to a new comic similar to the Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point.

Other than that, the rubber hose animation style is also prevalent in games like Cuphead, so maybe the developers are working on bringing items from the popular co-op title like Mugman, the Elder Kettle, or even the Devil itself.

It would be cool to see another comic collaboration or even new skins of some of the most famous characters. No one knows what the new character might be, but it seems like it’s the end of Meowscles.
