Former World No.5 Eugenie Bouchard is part of tennis royalty, despite not having a spectacular career. The Canadian commands a huge number of followers and fans, and her family has some famous connections in other industries as well because Genie holds a close connection with actress and lifestyle coach, Mimi Bouchard.

Who is Mimi Bouchard and how is she related to Eugenie Bouchard?

Mimi Bouchard is famous for her appearance on the British reality show, ‘Made in Chelsea’ and happens to be Genie’s cousin.

Genie and Mimi get along well. Back in 2018, Genie and Mimi attended a concert in London’s famed Wembley Stadium. Bouchard had even posted a photo on her Instagram with Mimi.

Both of them meet up whenever Genie is in London, especially for Wimbledon. Back in 2019, Mimi Bouchard was in the audience as she saw her cousin play in the first round of the championships. Unfortunately, Genie lost the first round that year to Tamara Zidansek.

Mimi Bouchard’s unique platform to uplift women

Mimi was born on July 16, 1996, in Toronto, Canada, and later moved to Fulham, UK in 2016.

Mimi Bouchard’s breakthrough came in a reality show based in London, and Genie’s iconic moment also happened in London. Genie rose to prominence after multiple back-to-back semifinals appearances at the Australian Open, French Open, and Wimbledon 2014. With the latter being her one and only Grand Slam final.

It is safe to say the Bouchard family has some prominent figures in the tennis and the acting world. It is also synonym to the fact that Genie Bouchard’s parents were very fond of the British Royal Family because they named their four children after four members of them.
