It’s time for the Wimbledon Championships 2021 and all the top players of the world will now assemble in London. Although there are many absentees this year, the tournament will be lit up with the presence of Nick Kyrgios. The Australian player will be seen after a long absence as he was last seen during the Australian Open earlier this year.
The Wimbledon Championships was the event in which Nick Kyrgios was first revealed to the world. Not many can forget his match against two-time champion Rafael Nadal during the 2014 season. The youngster created headlines that season, knocking out the Spaniard in four sets.

Recently, the Australian athlete confirmed via Twitter that he was set to compete at the Championships this year. He tweeted, “LAST DAY IN AUSTRALIA”. The Aussie left his country after four months since he did not feature in any event post the Australian Open.

However, this comes as a positive development as fans are looking forward to witnessing the ever-entertaining player. The All England Club has been a place where Kyrgios has received plenty of love from the public. Even in his post-match interviews, Nick has always been a charming character.

Usually, prior to the third Grand Slam event in the calendar year, the Australian player would at the Queen’s Championships but this year he didn’t do so. He was facing a problem with his shoulder and was unable to execute a service to his liking. Nonetheless, it is a positive sign for the event to have the presence of a player of Kyrgios’ magnitude.
