With every new Act, Riot Games has a pattern of bringing new agents and maps in Valorant. The latest Valorant Act 3 will begin from October 13 and fans are eager to play the new Icebox map for Act 3. However, to pick the new agent, players will have to wait a little longer.

Skye might be the new healer agent in Valorant

Skye’s first ability, Regrowth, is going to be very valuable for any team as it heals all her allies within a radius. It is very similar to Sage’s signature ability Healing Orb but has two primary differences:

  • Skye can heal all the allies in the radius at the same time.
  • In the process, she cannot heal herself, unlike Sage.

Even statistically, Skye’s Regrowth heals allies faster than Sage’s Healing Orb.

Concuss enemies with the help of a Tasmanian tiger

Trailblazer is one of the unique abilities in Valorant so far, not because of its impact but because of the medium. Skye controls a Tasmanian tiger, and if she touches any opponent, they lose their stable vision, movement, and aim. Killing a concussed enemy is a piece of cake, as many will know. Also, this tiger does not have a lot of health, so it’s better to catch the opponents off guard.

Skye’s blinding hawk

Skye’s skill set is not just limited to healing and concussion. Her signature ability, Guiding Light, does exactly the opposite for opponents. Skye releases her Hawk that blinds on activation. This very similar to Phoenix’s Curveball, but the Hawk is vulnerable to gunshots and enemies can kill it before impact.

Skye’s ultimate ability is a nightmare for every Valorant player

Holding on to corners and patiently waiting is a basic Valorant play. However, certain abilities that reveal player locations always force players to change their positioning and strategies accordingly. Skye’s Ultimate ability, Seekers, does the same as she can summon three seekers to near sight her enemies.

Will players exploit Skye’s strong abilities?

Skye’s four abilities are not unique based on their use. Agents like Sage, Phoenix, Sova, and Raze already have similar abilities. Skye certainly mixes them up, which makes her a well-rounded agent. A lot of players are complaining that the agent seems overpowered and Riot will eventually have to nerf her, just as with Sage.

Another portion of fans still believes that the agent is unique in her own way, as her abilities also have considerable weaknesses. Despite her similarities to other agents, Skye will no doubt carve out a place for herself in teams. All in all, fans are eagerly waiting for the new agent.
