Novak Djokovic is back legitimizing his claim to be the world no. 1. The player made his comeback at this year’s Monte Carlo Masters, however, he could not reign it. In other tournaments as well, he had to settle for playing a few matches. Nonetheless, the Serbian player got his momentum back and won the Italian Open on Sunday after defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas in straight sets.\

Evert took to her Twitter to wish Djokovic on his victory. as she wrote, “Well… It didn’t take long for @DjokerNole to get his brilliant game back!” She praised Novak for manifesting his game into victory and winning the title after a long halt. Moreover, praises have been showered from all over the world on Novak Djokovic for winning his sixth Italian Open.
