Russia’s powerhouse Daniil Medvedev has made a mark in men’s tennis. In the last couple of years, he along with Dominic Thiem has continued to impress. The Russian reached the semi-final at this year’s US Open without dropping a set, only to be a victim on the Austrian’s road to glory.

Off the court, Daniil has enjoyed a fair bit of success. He has endorsement deals with Lacoste, Tecnifibre, and BMW. Recently he extended his partnership with Lacoste.

They announced, Lacoste is proud to announce the renewal of the contract with rising tennis star Daniil Medvedev until 2026. In the essence of the brand’s founder, it is his elegance of play and his spirit that Lacoste wishes to transmit through the extension of his contract.”

Lacoste only signed him up in March 2019; the fact that he has received an extension in such a short span of time is commendable.

Daniil Medvedev stamps authority

He lost to the Spanish sensation Rafael Nadal in a nail-biting encounter. In the latter part of 2019, Medvedev made it to 6 finals in a row. He managed to end the season on a high, winning the first 2 titles after the US Open final.
