“It Is More Interesting to Read Nole and Jelena Getting Divorced” – Novak Djokovic Rubbishes Divorce Reports

Novak Djokovic has been one of the most successful tennis players in recent times. On the court, the world No.1 is a true champ. But recently there were rumors about his divorce with his wife Jelena Djokovic. Djokovic has quickly gone out and dismissed these rumors.

Djokovic isn’t letting these negative reports get into his mind. He has called these baseless rumors and slammed certain people who love this kind of news. In a recent interview with Blic.rs, he talked about his personal life and all the rumors surrounding his marriage.

“I don’t read or follow the media, mostly not. So I’m not upset. I understand that it is more interesting for people to read Nole and Jelena are getting divorced than Nole and Jelena are in love. But that doesn’t affect Jelena and me because we love each other.” Djokovic told Blic.rs

” I have dedicated everything important to us” – Novak Djokovic.

The World No.1 also spoke about what’s important in his marriage. 

“Neither Jelena nor I am burdened with such formalities. We both experience our relationship by nurturing it every day, not neglecting what makes our love so strong. It is important for every relationship that we understand things and that we do not neglect it. Business, private, love, family, marriage, I have dedicated everything important to us.” said Djokovic.

Djokovic spoke highly of his wifeDjokovic and Jelena have been together since 2005. They got married in 2014 and since had 2 children, a boy, Stefan, and a younger girl, Tara.

“She is the most complete person I know. Open and full of support,” said Djokovic.

On the tennis side, Djokovic hasn’t yet announced whether he will play the US Open. He earlier criticized the US Open organizers for the quarantine rules and entourage limit. But recently the US Open announced new guidelines which had relaxed some of the major rules. This could tip the 3-time US Open champ to come to the Flushing Meadows this year.
