‘Enter the Dragon’ is a 1973 martial arts film that features fighters coming from all over the world to participate in a martial arts tournament held on a private island. The similarities between White’s propositions and the film are striking. The only difference between the movie and Dana White’s ambitions is that the film only features Karate and Kung-fu whereas the UFC will be mixed martial arts fought in an Octagon.

Masvidal praised everyone fighting at UFC 249. Unfortunately, the event is postponed after high-level executives at Disney’s ESPN asked Dana White to stand down. Following the cancelation, the UFC President told ESPN’s Brett Okamoto that his Fight Island will be set up in a month.

Could we see ‘Gamebred’ at any of the Fight Island events? The BMF certainly seems to be on board with the idea after terming it as “amazing.

The 3rd ranked welterweight is on a 3 fight win streak and he knocked out Ben Askren with a flying knee in just 5 seconds in the second bout of the streak at UFC 239. ‘Gamebred’ has not entered the Octagon since beating Nate Diaz last November and winning the BMF Championship.

Welterweight’s Champion Kamaru Usman’s comments at a media day also indicate that he wants ‘Gamebred’ next. He says that only contractual things need to be worked through.

Will this be one of the fights at UFC’s Fight Island in the next month?
