“It’s Hot”: Serena Williams Rakes Responsibility of Her Husband’s New Look

Serena Williams and her family were well documented during the tennis hiatus. Her husband, Alexis Ohanian, has been very active on social media, posting about Serena and their daughter Olympia Ohanian.

Alexis recently posted a picture on social media that revealed his new quarantine look. However, this came as a huge surprise for Serena’s fans.

Alexis Ohanian now has long hair, something that Serena adores. In fact, she held a QnA session on her Instagram handle in which fans asked her opinion on her husband’s new look. Hilariously, Serena took ‘full responsibility’ for Alexis’ new avatar.

“Full responsibility for Alexis’ hair. I told him around [the start of ] COVID that he should grow his hair out and he took it literally,” Williams told her fans.

She revealed the conversation she had with Alexis on his hair, which he took more seriously than she imagined. On her part, Serena expressed her fondness for his new look.

“I showed him a picture of when he had his hair long and he’s been growing it ever since. And now it’s getting really long and I kinda think it’s hot.”

During the lockdown, Serena and Olympia rocked social media when Serena posted a photo showing the mother-daughter duo playing doubles and wearing the same outfit. Many players and athletes had commented on the photo.

Tennis recently resumed in full swing with the Western and Southern Open and the US Open. Serena did play both the tournaments but was far from challenging for the titles.

In Cincinnati, she was knocked out in the 3rd round and in the US Open 2020, she lost to Victoria Azarenka in the semifinals.

The American has skipped the Italian Open but will play at French Open 2020. It’s no surprise that fans and tennis pundits are again discussing the elusive 24th Grand Slam. However, it will be a tough task for the former World No.1 to equal the record on a clay court.
