“It’s So Difficult” – Shroud Gives His Verdict on Counter Strike Global Offensive

Shroud is back to playing some Counter Strike Global Offensive again after having spent the best part of March on Call of Duty Warzone. One of the most recognizable and followed streamers, Shroud is still finding his feet, having lost his touch playing Warzone (or so he says).

Shroud, a former Counter Strike Global Offensive player, is currently among the most popular streamers around. He was back on one of his favorites titles today, playing with his friends. Take a look at some of his kills in his game time today.

Shroud explains what makes Counter Strike Global Offensive so special

Talking about why he likes the game so much, Shroud may have perhaps taken another dig at Warzone.

“It’s just cause it is so difficult. The people who appreciate this game are the people who are actually quite solid at it, or they’ve been playing it for a long time.”

At the 3:50 mark Shroud shows us exactly how good he can be. Asking his team to “watch this shot”, he proceeds to get him with a 1 deag headshot, through the smoke!

He proceeds to get the same guy once again with a headshot at the 8:24 mark. Poor guy never knew what hit him.

According to the former pro, anyone starting out in the game in 2020 is going to find it very hard.

“Just more people playing, so more people are better. A game like Counter Strike is all about knowledge. people who play longer know more, people who keep up with the curve.”

We don’t want you to be discouraged by his words though, perhaps you have some innate skill that will take care of your inexperience. You never know.

Shroud sure looks happy to be away from Call of Duty Warzone and back to CS: GO.

Who can blame him, it is his favorite game after all.
