John Isner and Wife Madison Welcome their Second Child

John Isner and his wife Madison McKinley welcomed their second child John Hobbs Isner on Sunday. The pair’s first child, a daughter named Hunter Grace, was born on September 15, last year.

John Isner had already revealed that it will be a boy in a video announcement posted on the ATP Tour’s official Twitter account in April, earlier this year.

John Isner made the public announcement on social media welcoming their son, John Hobbs Isner. The American wrote in a post: “We’re now a party of four! Say hello to John Hobbs Isner born on October 20. My little girl couldn’t be prouder to be a big sister and my wife Madison McKinley couldn’t be more amazing. I don’t know how you do it. You are and will be the best mother possible.”

Earlier, John Isner talked about balancing professional life and personal life after having two kids as he praised his wife for supporting him and doing the bulk of work for the family. He also explained that the combination of a girl and a boy child is perfect and is very special for them.

He said: “Life’s moving fast! It is a balance, but I think the most important thing is that I have an incredibly supportive wife who does the bulk of the work for our family, although I do as much as I can when I’m home”, said Isner in New York. We’re enjoying it. It’s very special. A girl and a boy, it’s perfect.”

John Isner’s 2019 season took a major hit after the Miami Open, where he advanced to the finals in his attempt at defending the title, but the 34-year-old suffered a foot injury that sidelined him from the ATP Tour for three months.

The former world No. 8 claimed his only title at the 2019 Hall of Fame Open in Newport this summer to extend his run of capturing at least one title in nine of the past 10 years.
