Jon Jones Takes Another Hit From Chael Sonnen: ‘I Would Rather See Jones Type Lines Than Snort Them’

Jon Jones has been on the radar of Chael Sonnen lately. The former UFC fighter, Chael Sonnen has responded to the accusations of Chael trying to burry Jon Jones. Chael has criticized Jones for his lack of understanding of the fight business, Chael has also criticized Jones for not moving up to heavyweight division to win another title, and now Chael has criticized Jones for his tweets.

In his recent video talking about the return of Anthony Johnson, Chael talks about the possibilities of witnessing Jones and Rumble stepping into the octagon to fight each other. Chael said:

“The one thing about Rumble coming back to heavyweight, it means we don’t get to see him fight Jon jones. But if John moves up to heavyweight, unlikely but possible. At some point Jon jones is going to get tired of fighting in an unsold out crowd and is going to have to do something courageous.”

Chael’s comments on Jones make sense since there is no one in the light heavyweight division can threaten Jones’s title. Sure, Thiago Santos had a close fight with Jones but considering how Jones perform in rematches, a rematch between Santos and Jones will be a lot different. Hence it makes sense for Jones to move up to heavyweight and fight his rival Daniel Cormier or fight for the title.

Clarifying his intentions behind criticizing Jones, Chael said:

“I don’t feel that I burry Jon Jones. Maybe i am little bit rough on Jones. but Jones is really good. But It seems that every time i do a piece on this somebody takes a small piece of it and tell Jones what i said. And Jones has to go to twitter and show that he is angry. but i’m not really sure you heard the piece.”

But the guy who changed the whole trash talk tradition in UFC fight promotion, Chael Sonnen then takes a jab at Jones and said:

“I can only imagine Jon Jones licking the coke off his fingers to type out these lines. And then he wants response from me.Here is my response. I would rather see you(Jones) type lines than snort them.”

the current light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones has no opponent ahead of him. Well, it was believed that he would fight DC. But after DC’s loss to Stipe, Jon Jones doesn’t have the big trilogy fight with DC on the table anymore.
