Jorge Masvidal Believes Conor McGregor Is Not Interested In a Fight With the BMF

It was surprising to see Conor McGregor not call out any fighter after an incredible victory against Donald Cerrone in his return fight. McGregor made a return to the welterweight division against UFC veteran Donald Cerrone. Cowboy also made a return to 170. And despite doubts over Conor’s ability to finish his opponent at 170, McGregor proved everybody wrong when he achieved the feat in just 40 seconds into the first round.
In the lead up to UFC 246, McGregor expressed his interest in fighting at the welterweight division. However, Dana White had a different opinion. All that changed after Conor’s scintillating knockout, and now Dana White looks interested in Conor fighting at 170, according to his statements after the post-fight press conference.
However, Conor McGregor paid no heed to one individual fighter, during the octagon interview after the fight. Masvidal must have been hoping for a call out, but faced disappointment as Conor revealed no solid plans for who he wants to face next.

Masvidal appeared alongside MMA journalist Ariel Helwani and talked about his plans going ahead.
“And all I know, he don’t want a fight. So I am moving on from that fight, man. You know, this dude doesn’t want to fight, I am not here to bully him you know.”
Masvidal believes that Conor McGregor is not interested in a fight, and he wants to move on, and look for the title against Usman. Masvidal continues,
“This just seals Usman’s fate. Usman, you got punked mother******. You’re dead.”

Jorge Masvidal doesn’t waste any time in trash-talking current welterweight champion Kamaru Usman. He is currently enjoying a three-fight win streak and is the next contender for the title belt. Masvidal had earlier said that he was more interested in fighting Conor McGregor than Kamaru Usman. However, after Conor’s supposed disinterest in the fight, Masvidal is eying on the championship belt once again.
Conor McGregor has a lot of options open for him, going ahead. After a spectacular victory against Donald Cerrone at 170, he can also look to get a title opportunity at welterweight. Someone like McGregor can always make matches like these happen.
