After signing the Ivory Coast star Wilfried Bony, first team for Jovetic seems unlikely. He looked pretty sharp at beginning of the season but his form depleted and so did his game time. Jovetic was linked to Juve two years back as well but the move didn’t come off. As for the player it looks a desirable move as Juventus are set to offer him first team football. An Italian Newspaper claims that a bid of 18.5m pounds has been launched by the defending Serie A champions.
But the Ivory Coast star is unavailable until next month because of the African Nations Cup and so, manager Manuel Pellegrini is in no hurry to lose Jovetic and reduce his options up front.
Selling Montenegro star Jovetic, a £22m buy from Fiorentina, would help City balance the books after their Financial Fair Play fine.
