Julia Budd Is Ready to Do Anything and Everything to Win the Super Fight Against Cris Cyborg

Former UFC champion, Cris Cyborg is going to face Bellator MMA women’s featherweight champion, Julia Budd. This will be the first fight for Cyborg in Bellator since she signed the historic contract.

Cris Cyborg has been on the top of women’s MMA for a long time. Her achievements in sports can hardly be matched by any other female fighter. She has been a world champion in three different organizations. Cyborg has conquered the featherweight division of Strike Force and INVICTA in her early career before coming into the UFC. So she has been the radar of many champions and has been the dream fight for many. Well, 4 time Bellator Champion, Julia Budd feels no different as she has been aiming for the fight with Cyborg for a while now.

In a recent interview with ScoreMMA, talking about her upcoming fight with Cyborg Budd said:

“Obviously this is the fight that made more sense. I think this fight has to happen first, I didn’t think she should have to fight anybody in the division before. We have both known of each other for the last ten years that I have been n MMA cause we are the two best girls in the division. this is a dream fight for me.”

Cris Cyborg was unbeaten for over a decade until UFC bantamweight champion, Amanda Nunes knocked her out to become the first female two-division champion. Although Julia Budd agreed that she won’t fight the way Nunes fought Cyborg, Budd is confident that she has the skills to become victorious against the former UFC champion. Budd claims:

“I feel like I got the formula. My Muay Thai, my wrestling, my ground pound, my everything. Besides this is my weight class, this is where I am most comfortable. She is gonna have her hands full with me. I am prepared and I know I will have one of the best performance of my career on January 25th.”

Me winning 1st round 2nd round 3 rd round 4th round I’ll do anything and everything to beat her,” said Julia Budd when asked to predict the results for the super fight with Cris Cyborg.

Reportedly, Cris Cyborg was released from UFC after her win against Felicia Spencer and signed with Bellator MMA a few days after.
