Exactly a month ago, Dr. Disrespect was yanked out of Twitch without any particular reason being cited. Many conspiracy theories have been spun regarding the reason why the 38-year-old was banned. But what’s interesting is how he spent his last few minutes on stream.

What appears to be an ‘out of character’ move, Dr. Disrespect appears to be somber and disturbed.

“We’ll … we’ll get through this, champions club. I know it’s a tough … Life’s weird right now …. we’ll get through this okay. and uh … f—.”

Later, in an interview with PC Gamer when asked about why did he say whatever he said, here’s what the Doc replied;

“I was in a moment where I was just sort of taking in what’s going on in the world, you know? If people had the context of that clip going into it, and then coming out of it, like, all I was talking about was just the state of the world that we’re in dealing with, dealing with the protests, and the coronavirus, and everything that was happening.

“It’s just like, man… And at that particular moment, I think I was just kind of going through a, you know, like, when can we break this funk of 2020? It was just me being real on stream. And that’s pretty much the context of that.”

Conspiracies or the truth? Dr. Disrespect mentions David Icke

I don’t know about you guys but something really seems off. Mentioning David Icke on a stream all of a sudden is quite peculiar. And that just turns out to be his last stream? As if Icke isn’t already the biggest conspiracy theorist out there and all this doesn’t add even more shade on the silence around Doc’s ban.

Interestingly, Icke was banned both from YouTube and Facebook earlier this year for anti-semitic views and misinformation. But in the interview, when pressed on this point, Doc just sways away all the suspicion.

Co-incidental or not, speculation around his ban isn’t going to rest unless Twitch provides a reason for it. For his Champion Club, or anyone interested, now would be the time to go ahead and watch exactly what happened in that last stream.
