Cleveland Browns are struggling with their quarterback situation this season. Their infamous offseason trade is currently serving his 11-game suspension and can make a return only by the time of the playoffs. But the Browns are hit by a string of defeats. A 23-20 loss to the Ravens on Sunday meant they are 2-5 after Week 7.

As the NFL trade deadline is approaching in six days, the Browns are actively listening to trade offers on running back Kareem Hunt. The last two games have seen just 10 touches by Hunt. This performance is not up to the mark, believes the team management. They are also open to trading CB Greedy Williams. However, the fans are not in favor of trading the star player, Hunt, who had sat out on most games in 2021 with an injury.

Deshaun Watson is on track to make a return?

In a consoling remark, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said Browns QB remained on track to make his return to the game by December 4. This return is despite another lawsuit being filed in the last week.

In the NFL Owners Meetings in New York, Goodell said the suspended QB has followed all the terms so far, and if there is new information, they will take it into consideration. Meanwhile, a new complaint was leveled against Watson by a massage therapist.

Cleveland Browns and Kareem Hunt need an enormous boost

The Browns sit at 2-5 while the Ravens and Bengals move up to 4-3 this weekend. This made it tougher for the AFC North team and their playoff hopes. However, they are not completely down and out in the league. Cleveland faltered the most in the end minutes of most games. It is a key area they would have to address as quickly as possible. As per reports, the franchise hopes at least four teams may vie up for Kareem Hunt in the trade. The 27 YO joined the team in February 2019.

On paper, they have two of the best running backs in the league and a solid offense. However, it is not enough because they do not have an impact player in their squad. Kevin Stefanski and his men have to find a potential player to keep their game in order, someone like Josh Allen. Because December 4 is a long time away.
