In one of the more surprising facts to come out of today’s basketball games, Kevin Durant finally recorded a victory over LeBron James without the help of Stephen Curry. The last time he achieved this feat was in the 2013-2014 season when he was a part of the Oklahoma City Thunder team with Russell Westbrook. Since then, the King consistently defeated him until he joined the Golden State Warriors. The last time LeBron James and Kevin Durant faced off before this season was in 2018 when the KD-led Golden State Warriors swept the Cleveland Cavaliers 4-0 in the 2018 NBA Finals.
