Kim Kardashian Announces Partnership With Team USA Ahead of Tokyo Olympics 2021

Kim Kardashian is a global star, and she also has her own businesses in various sectors. Back in 2019, Kim started her shapewear brand, Skims and now that brand is partnering with the US Olympic team ahead for the Tokyo Olympics 2021.

Skims will be designing the undergarments, pajamas, and loungewear for Team USA’s athletes going to the Tokyo Olympics 2021 as well as the Paralympics. Kim announced the news on her Twitter account and recalled how she used to enjoy Olympics in her childhood.

“I am honored to announce that SKIMS is designing the official team USA undergarments, pajamas and loungewear for the athletes this year in Tokyo and the same pieces will be available in a capsule collection at SKIMS.COM,” Kim tweeted.

Moreover, Kim tweeted about how she inspired by the dedication of the Olympians. She is honored to have her brand partner the Olympians in their journey to make the USA proud.

“Ever since I was 10 years old, I’ve heard every single detail about the Olympics from my stepdad. As I would watch the athletes compete, I would grow to understand the dedication and honor being a part of the Olympics embodied.

“When I received the call inviting Skims to be a part of @TeamUSA, every moment I’ve spent admiring the strength and energy of the Olympians from the sidelines came full circle,” Kim tweeted.

The Tokyo-bound athletes have stamped their authority in the recently concluded trials in gymnastics and track & field. The gymnastic team has in particular been spectacular.

Despite a relatively young team, they are being led by Simone Biles, who is widely regarded as the best gymnast in recent history. They are in prime form to defend their many gold medals from the 2016 Rio Olympics and add a few more as well.

Like Gymnastics, track & field has been brilliant for Team USA. There are several medal prospects with the likes of Trayvon Bromell, Noah Lyles, Grant Holloway, and JuVaughn Harrison among men, and Gabrielle Thomas, Athing Mu, Sydney McLaughlin, and Allyson Felix among women.
