Seems like Kyle Larson recognizes a talent when he sees one. Even though the Hendrick Motorsports driver has been knee-deep in tightly packed racing and ownership commitments, he doesn’t forget to acknowledge budding talents in the circuit. Recently, a snippet of a post-race interview by Wisconsin’s young Micro Sprint racing sensation, Jaxson Peters went viral. The youngster’s quick wit and unconventional answers got the attention of social media users, and even Kyle Larson was left impressed with the driver’s sharp tongue.

Kyle Larson approves of Little Racer’s bold talk
It all went down on Twitter when a clip from Jaxson Peters’ interview made it into the limelight. The youngster, when asked about his recent heat race win, had something rather quirky to say. The interviewer asked, “Tell me how that race track’s feeling out there?”

Peters did not give it a second thought and let his rowdy thoughts out in the open. The community exploded with reactions as the youngster’s wild and unexpected answer went viral making rounds on the Twittersphere.
Shortly after, the clip reached Larson, who retweeted the post with a quirky GIF animation of Leonardo Dicaprio from the movie “The Wolf of Wall Street” clapping his hands as a show of appreciation for the little entertainer. But this is not the first time that the #5 driver has recated to a kids’ shenanigans on social media.

Fans are the heart and soul of any sporting promotion, and things aren’t much different in NASCAR. In fact, it’s these ardent fans who keep the sport alive and running as they rally behind their favorite driver. And Kyle Larson is one name that gets all the attention be it in dirt tracks or in the NASCAR fast lanes. Recently in November, Larson retweeted a wholesome post that showed a young fan of his donning a #5 HMS Chevy transformer costume for Halloween. With the Halloween parties going around in full swing, a young fan asked his mother to make him something unique, an homage to his favorite race car driver. Monica Simko went straight to the drawing board, taking up the challenge only to come out with an impressive HMS Chevy transformer costumer for his son that eventually earned Larson’s approval when the driver retweeted it with the caption, “Love it! You win Halloween!”
