James had to evacuate his house- hours after Lakers’ game against the Hornets owing to a fire breaking out.

“Man these LA [fires] aren’t no joke. Had to emergency evacuate my house and I’ve been driving around with my family trying to get rooms. No luck so far!” James tweeted in the early hours of Monday.

Tuesday night, before the Los Angeles Lakers home game, he spoke to reporters about his evacuation.

“It’s just challenging at that hour, getting my family, getting my kids, getting everybody and having to evacuate at such a rapid, rapid rate. You don’t really have much time to think about what you can get or what you can do. You just got to get out and get to safety.”
