She put up a post with a caption, “Let’s get stronger together friends💪🏻💪🏼💪🏽💪🏾💪🏿. Join me tomorrow for my first session back on LIVE in a while… kicking off Wellness with Venus, let’s do this. #CoachVenus.”

Williams first started this wonderful initiative last year during the pandemic. It was a great move, as people all over the world seemed to be losing their motivation and desire to do things during the lockdown, and being able to physically exert oneself provides a sense of upliftment to the mind.

Coach Venus Williams having a poor run in tennis

Williams began her 2021 season in Melbourne, competing at the Australian Open. Unfortunately, her journey ended pretty quickly, as she lost in the second round. After that, she competed in Miami but ended her stint after losing in the opening round.

Her performances kept on deteriorating as she crashed out in the opening round of the next four events. While her single’s stint at the Wimbledon Championships, ended after a second-round loss to Ons Jabeur, her mixed doubles stint ended after her partner, Nick Kyrgios, had to pull out due to an injury.

We hope to see the five-time Wimbledon champion compete again and get back to winning ways. It will be interesting to see how she performs during the rest of the season.
