As a loyal partner to Ferrari, Shell Motorsport has worked for many years with Kimi Raikkonen who has now departed the Scuderia.

The Dutch oil company paid a tribute to the Iceman as they followed Kimi on his last event for Shell.

All has not been lost for the now Sauber driver however who received for his long-time services a very precious gift from Shell.

The video shows Raikkonen shooting an advertisement for Shell Motorsport. It was interspersed with footage of the 2007 World Champion driving around a track in a Ferrari road car. In addition to that, he was also seen taking various guests for a spin. While all this was going on, there was a voiceover of Kimi taking about life at Ferrari, outside F1 and his move to Sauber.

The move back to the team that gave him his F1 debut will be a new and interesting challenge. Hopefully, Kimi will be able to produce decent results and mentor rookie driver Antonio Giovinazzi.
