On Sunday, they will be facing a Clippers team which will be coming on the back of a four game winning streak that includes wins against Houston Rockets and Boston Celtics. They are currently placed fourth in the Western Conference. However, the encouraging fact for the Pelicans will be that Clippers’ last loss came against them although a few things have changed since then.

Injury updates & team news-

Pelicans are still without Zion Williamson, whose return would definitely strengthen the team. It is reported that Williamson is recovering well although exact timeline is still unknown. Derrick Favors was also reported to be out against Utah and Clippers.

Guard Josh Hart is close to making a return from his knee injury and is listed as probable for the game on Sunday. To top the injury worries, the Clippers game will be their second back to back game down the road, which brings in the fatigue factor.

As for the Clippers, they look fit and will also be fresh, playing the last five games at home with some rest between games as well.

Considering the players injured and the amount of workload, the Pelicans would find it hard to beat a Clippers side which boasts of the likes of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George in the lineup.
