LeBron James
“King” LeBron James popped up in the Los Angeles Lakers’ injury report ahead of their match against Atlanta Hawks on Sunday.
LeBron seems to have hurt his right elbow during the match against Miami Heat on Friday. It was reported that the training staff took a look at his elbow after that game, and it looked fine.
But the 34-year old is now listed as questionable for Sunday’s game in Atlanta. On Saturday, he was having an off day with the Lakers and went to watch his son play in Ohio. During his time at his son’s game, James talked about his plans to play the Sunday’s game against Hawks as per Dave McMenamin of ESPN.

However, it remains to be seen whether the Lakers will risk playing James, taking into account the workload in the recent games. The Lakers have played four of their last five games away from home and Sunday’s game will be the third of their five-game road trip.
Apart from LeBron James, the Lakers also have a few other injury concerns to deal with. Kyle Kuzma is ruled out of the game as he continues to struggle with his ankle sprain, while Avery Bradley and Rajon Rondo are listed as probable. Anthony Davis‘s right shoulder continues to keep him in the injury report, but he has missed only one game in the season so far although he has been listed as probable a few times. Meanwhile, DeMarcus Cousins remains out with his long term knee injury.

Even if it is assumed that LeBron James will miss his first game of the season, Lakers look a strong outfit and very little point towards the Hawks being an obstacle to their six-game winning streak.
