Venue: Staples Center, Los Angeles.

Preview-

If there was anyone doubting the Lakers for winning only favourable fixtures, they proved their worth by winning three tough road trips on the trot. And in two of those games, the Lakers have managed to restrict the home side to less than 100 points. Their 20 wins in 23 games makes them the best team the league. And not many teams would want to face Lakers. Especially not someone like Minnesota Timberwolves, who are looking to gain back some confidence.

The Timberwolves will be coming into Sunday’s game after three consecutive losses- at home to Memphis Grizzlies before losing down the road to Dallas Mavericks and Oklahoma City Thunder. They have now lost seven out of their last 10 games having started the season brightly. Minnesota are currently placed eight in the Western Conference with a win-loss record of 10-11.

While Town is averaging 26.2 points and 11.9 rebounds per game , his counterpart Davis is averaging 26.6 points and 9.1. Although it would an individual contest worth watching, there might not be enough contest in the match overall with the Lakers looking too strong for the Wolves.
