The 23-time Grand Slam champion mentioned having several people in her support system and each one of them holding a crucial place in her life. The tennis star expressed the importance of people who can be completely honest with you so that one doesn’t tread the wrong path.

“That’s a tough question because I have a lot of people in my support system and then there’s people that I go to for certain things and there’s people that I go to for other things. So, I think it’s good to know who’s good at what, who’s motivating at what, and…. who can be completely honest with you when you need that as well. So, there’s a lot of pieces to the part,” said Serena.

Williams’s husband, Alexis Ohanian, is frequently spotted in the stands to support her partner alongside their little daughter Olympia. The father-daughter duo has been a constant source of strength for Williams on and off the court.

During her career spanning over two decades, Serena’s elder sister and 7-time Grand Slam champion Venus Williams has also been guiding motivation for the 39-year-old.

For the last four years, Williams has been eyeing the elusive 24th Grand Slam title. However, despite reaching four Major championship finals since the 2017 Australian Open, Williams has suffered defeat on each occasion.
