Former tennis great Maria Sharapova retired from the game after losing in the opening round of Australian Open 2020. Post-retirement, the former Russian starlet concentrates on her entrepreneurial commitments. Besides her own brand Sugarpova, Maria endorses brands such as Head, Nike, Porsche, Evian to name a few.

Recently, Maria Sharapova complimented British pop star Dua Lipa on her newly launched video. In the video, the singer is seen having a sip of water from an ‘Evian’ bottle before she practices her verse of the hit song ‘Levitating’. The entire clip is shot in an auditorium. The Russian star posted a story along with a caption that stated, “Love this”.

Maria Sharapova and Dua Lipa endorse luxury water company Evian
Both Sharapova and Lipa endorse the packaged water company. Evian specializes in selling mineral water that comes from Lake Geneva. It is portrayed as a luxury and is very expensive as compared to other companies selling bottled water. Maria has been associated with the company since 2010.
Coming to Maria and her achievements on a tennis court, she is one of the few players that managed to win a Grand Slam title at all the events. She won her first Grand Slam title in 2004, beating the then World No.1 Serena Williams in the final of Wimbledon.

During her spell as a player, along with her success on the court, she enjoyed enormous success outside the courts too. Maria was the highest-paid female athlete for 11 consecutive years since she turned pro in 2001.

At the end of last year, Sharapova announced her engagement to a British businessman, Alexander Gilkes, who also shares a good rapport with members of the British Royal Family.
