However, he wrote, “LPGA Tour doesn’t have historical GIR streak numbers, but a couple of notes for a broader perspective. Tiger’s longest streak during his incredible 2000 season was 29.” Meanwhile, he is nowhere near Ko, who has hit 63 consecutive GIR, which is unreal.

Moreover, this shows the dominance she has created with her approach game. Ko recently won the CME Group Tour Championship after posting all her rounds under in the 60s. She has won 5 events in this season itself and also won the Player of the year award.

Furthermore, most of the time it is her iron play that takes her through, and the 63 straight GIR proves it. Meanwhile, the most surprising thing is that Tiger Woods, who was at his peak with his irons during the 2000 PGA Tour season, has 29 straight GIR, which is almost half of Jin Young Ko.
Hence, Jin Young Ko is considered one of the best and also the greatest golfers currently on the LPGA Tour.
