Jin Young Ko regains the top spot in women’s golf rankings

The South Korean superstar Jin Young Ko has regained the top spot in the women’s golf ranking. She had an emphatic victory recently at the BMW Ladies Championship in South Korea. However, Nelly Korda didn’t participate in this event as she is having some rest before ending this season. Hence, she couldn’t get any points for the rankings, which worked in favor of the South Korean and made her the world’s no.1 golfer. Moreover, these two golfers are also fighting for the Player of the Year award.

Meanwhile, Jim Young Ko currently has 176 points while the former world no.1 Nelly Korda, has 161 points. However, with two more events remaining in this season of the LPGA Tour, it will be interesting to see who remains at the top by the end of the season. And to make things more interesting, both Nelly and Ko will be competing in these final two events.
