Lucas Biglia on his way to Real Madrid?

Rafa Benitez, manager of Real Madrid, hopes to get the Argentine Lucas Biglia of Lazio to the Bernabeu in order to strengthen their midfield. The 29-year old Argentina international was a part of the 2014 squad and is also playing pretty well in the ongoing Copa America.

He also plays a key role in the midfield for Lazio and it’s tough for them to consider this switch. Real Madrid have reportedly lined up a €22m for Lucas Biglia but Lazio might want to get more considering the interest of other top clubs like Manchester United, Manchester City and Paris St Germain.

Lucas Biglia joined Lazio in 2013 from the Belgian club, Anderlecht. He has 53 appearances with the Aquiles and has also helped them to the 3rd position in the Italian premiership, La Liga. So this year, Lazio get to play the Champions League preliminary rounds.
