The 23-year-old has been tipped to leave Valencia this summer for bigger opportunities and Los Blancos are keen on his services this summer according to his father. Mustafi was quoted as saying “It’s true, there has been contact via telephone regarding this matter. Some of these calls took place last season. Madrid is a great club and I’d be lying if I said I wouldn’t be proud of my son signing for this club.”

Mustafi was part of the World Cup winning German team in Brazil. Since then, his value seems to have grown. Mustafi is a part of the highly rated German youth setup that would help them dominate world football for many years to come.

For a player who was only signed last season from Sampdoria for €8million the move doesn’t look easy. But according to his agent, the player would move if things were ‘perfect’.
