With Super Bowl glory, came a moment of pain for the Kansas City Chiefs. Their star QB Patrick Mahomes led the franchise to the victory with an injured ankle, sparking concerns. With a few months behind those concerns now, the Chiefs, along with their QB, will be looking forward to being at the top of their game in terms of physical fitness as well as their game on the field. Now, Patrick Mahomes has a new team to play with after a considerable roster shuffle during the offseason. And he will be looking to come back stronger than ever for a title-defending season in the league.

Despite the injury being one of the most talked about injuries in the history of football, Patrick Mahomes has not revealed a lot of details surrounding the progress of his recovery. In fact, he even avoided the question during a recent appearance on the New Heights Podcast starring teammate Travis Kelce and Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce. Last season, Patrick Mahomes suffered from a right ankle injury during the second quarter of the AFC divisional round of the playoffs against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The injury occurred when the QB was caught by Jaguar defenders, causing his ankle to get caught beneath him. Despite limping, Mahomes continued to stay on the field after getting his ankle taped up. After advancing to the Super Bowl finals against the Philadelphia Eagles, he once again suffered another aggravated injury after Eagles LB TJ Edwards tackled him from behind in the second quarter. Mahomes limped off the field but came back once again after being checked by the medical team. Now, a new video by the Chiefs provides an important update regarding the situation.
