Manchester united have already splashed around £60 million to secure the likes of Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw in their squad. In spite of that, United are not done yet done with their summer business, if reports are to be believed.

Maraca suggest that LVG is keen to add a bit of his country’s talent to the ranks, with not one, not two, but three Dutch players. The reports suggest that van Gaal is likely to be looking at his former Netherlands’ students; Daley Blind, Ron Vlaar, and long term speculated player, Kevin Strootman.

Daley Blind, 24, is currently pursuing club Football at Ajax is tied down at the Dutch heavyweights until 2016. He is a versatile player and can play different defensive roles. He can really fit in nicely into the LVG guided United squad and could be a very good edition in the club.

Ron Vlaar, 29, is a centre back and has displayed remarkable leadership qualities at Aston Villa over the past few years. Vlaar can be a very good addition to the club as he is an experienced centre-back. The fact that The Red Devils are distinctly short in that department might mean there would be some sense in driving through this deal.

Strootman, 24, is currently at Italian club, AS Roma. The ever-improving striker would probably have to wait until January to reunite with LVG since he is currently undergoing rehabilitation for an ACL injury. Nonetheless, he has been a permanent feature in the transfer rumours, and if he can make a quick recovery, he might be able to force his way into the team just before the window closes.
