Manchester United have identified Lazio superstar Sergej Milinkovic-Savic as the perfect replacement for their outgoing midfielder Paul Pogba.
The English heavyweights have reportedly lowered their asking price for the Frenchman from an initial £143m to now £134m, as they look to find an agreement with Real Madrid.
Manchester United have meanwhile diverted their attention to Milinkovic-Savic as a potential successor to Paul Pogba. The Serbian international has excelled in Serie A and is destined to make it big at a top European club.

Manchester United are in desperate need of a squad rebuild following a disastrous season which saw them finish sixth in the Premier League, and consequentially failing to qualify for the Champions League. Paul Pogba, who had a brilliant first half of the season, could not continue his form in the latter half as fans started to question his mentality.
Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane, however, is a huge fan of Paul Pogba as he also looks to revamp his side to challenge on all fronts next season. The 13-time Champions League winners have already bought world-class talent such as Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic and Ferland Mendy this summer and Paul Pogba’s addition would make it a summer to remember for Los Blancos.

Manchester United, on the other hand, would definitely receive a hefty amount if their former captain is sold and they could use that money to not only bring in Sergej Milinkovic-Savic but could also add more players to the fray.
