Marcus Ericsson, the former Sauber driver is currently a reserve driver fro Alpha Romeo while being a full time driver for Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports in the NTT IndyCar Series. We all saw the ins and outs of the Swiss driver in the Netflix documentary. A highly passionate guy, he lost his seat at the end of the season when the team decided to bring in Antonio Giovinazzi and Kimi Raikkonen. Despite that, he is always seen smiling whenever caught on camera.
Recently, after the announcement that Bahrain will be having three DRS sections, he took on to Twitter to express his disappointment. He went on to compare the racing in Formula One with IndyCar. This is what he had to say:
Not sure about this. One of the great things I’ve found in @IndyCar so far is the fact we don’t have DRS means there is so much more proper fights on track wheel to wheel and corner to corner. You don’t “wait” for a DRS zone to overtake, you just go for it when you get the chance https://t.co/Og2UuSbHrm

Kudos to Marcus Ericsson for taking it upon himself to silence his haters. It was a mighty big burn. Something that the troll definitely deserved.
