Maria Sharapova and John McEnroe to Feature in Riviera Tennis Classic 2020

The Riviera Tennis Championship is back again in 2020 with many superstars of the sport, young and old, featuring in the charity event. In the 2019 event, Maria Sharapova, Andy Roddick, James Blake and Venus Williams participated in the fun event. This year’s edition will feature some exciting names, new and old.
The Riviera Country Club is an age old and prestigious Country Club in Los Angeles, Southern California. It is home to first class Golf and Tennis facilities. And as it turns out, Maria Sharapova practiced there as a kid for many years.
Last year the Country Club organized and hosted the inaugural Riviera Tennis Classic event. It is a charity event in which tennis players, current and former, come together and play tennis and have some fun. The proceeds collected from the event were donated to the Los Angeles Fire Department and the Red Cross last year.

The 2019 Riviera Tennis Classic the event featured some tremendous names too. And this time around is no different. The 2020 Riviera Tennis Classic will once again feature Maria Sharapova along with the young American tennis star Amanda Anisimova, who is currently No. 29 in the World rankings.

As for the former players to participate in the event, that too is a treat. Seven time Grand Slam champion turned Tennis commentator John McEnroe and the 1989 French Open champion and 1996 US Open finalist Michael Chang will also be there.

The players will play two singles matches and then a mixed doubles match as well. The event enables the players and fans to mingle as well with player clinics, entertainment and some on court tennis action with the fans.
The Country Club will host this years event on the 7th of March.
The Grandstand admission passes are priced at $250. The holders of the Grandstand pass can watch all exhibition matches.

The Clinic passes are priced at $1200. The Clinic pass holders get access to the courts along and also a 50 minute tennis clinic with the players.
VIP passes are priced at $900. Those with VIP passes get a chance to take their photo with the players and also attend a cocktail party with them.
