Marvel’s Avengers, published by Square Enix, allows fans to play as their favorite characters in a brilliant cinematic story. The game offers single-player mode as well as co-operative gameplay in which players can team up with four players online.

Voice actors always play a major role in such games because they are the only sources of realism in the intense 3-D animations. The latest Marvel’s Avengers game has a great voice acting cast with names like Nolan North, and Troy Baker. The newest actor is Sandra Saad, who plays the role of Kamala Khan a.k.a. Ms. Marvel in the game.

In a recent interview with the game publishers, she talked about her similarities to Ms. Marvel, and much more. Here’s a rapid-fire round of questions, which was a part of the interview:

Sandra Saad on her role in Marvel’s Avengers

Both Marvel’s comics and the cinematic universe have very well-written and complicated storylines. To understand her character, Sandra herself read a lot of comics that feature Ms. Marvel. Marvel gave her the access to Marvel Unlimited and other digital comics, so she basically bought, “anything with a good cover.”

The voice actor feels great about her first-generation immigrant Superhero role in the game because she is very similar to the character.

“I’m pretty excitable, I’m a first-generation American, I’m a fangirl myself… So I didn’t have to go very far to look for inspiration.”

Thoughts on being the newest member of the cast and Motion Capture

Sandra certainly has experience in the field, but she is in the cast with actors like Troy Baker, Travis Willingham, Laura Bailey, and Nolan North who already knew each other. However, the cast members are really supportive of her, especially Troy and Nolan.

Being the most experienced cast member, Troy used to give Sandra “words of wisdom” regarding her acting process and other smaller things.

Motion capture was a new thing for the actress. She soon realized that it is actually a full performance because all her emotions and actions are captured in the process.

Favorite scene in Marvel’s Avengers!

Sandra, in general, loved all her time and work with the cast. But a scene specifically stands out in her memory in which Bruce Banner is examining Kamala. Kamala wakes up and says, “what are you doing, why are you examining me, what’s happened?!’  This was Sandra’s first scene with Troy Baker and their chemistry in this scene is really good.

It seems like Sandra is enjoying her time in the Marvel’s Avengers cast. The voice actress is really doing a phenomenal job and fans hope she continues to be the same.
