Max Griffin defeated Ramiz Brahimaj in the prelims of UFC Fight Night 182. The bout was stopped at the 2:03 second mark of round 3 as Griffin’s opponent suffered a gruesome ear injury.

The injury ranks very high amongst one of the worst injuries in MMA history. It looked like Ramiz Brahimaj’s ear was in danger of falling off.

Many pundits, including Dominick Cruz, lauded Griffin for his footwork. And the welterweight contender acknowledged the fact saying he had been working on his footwork recently.

I finally watched the fight yesterday, last night. And Dominick Cruz, who is Mr. Footwork had a lot of positive things to say about the footwork. I wasn’t even allowing him to shoot. I had taken away even his ability to shoot,” Max Griffin said.
